Predict Opponent's Needed Cards
To watch on your opponent’s move, you need to keep a track on the cards that your opponent discarded. When your opponent pick the high-value cards from you, you should be aware that he may try to use this card to form a valid sequence or set, so you should hold on the cards you think the opponent needs and discard them later in game.
Pick The Helpful Cards From Your Opponent
When it’s your turn to pick a card, you have options to pick card from the Closed Deck or Open Deck. Open Deck will be those cards that discarded by all players. So don’t just look for the needed cards from the Open Deck. If your opponent has discarded a card that can help you to form a valid sequence or set, you should pick it at the right time.
Judge Whether To Drop By Opponent’s Move
When your opponent is starting to discard low-value cards, you need to judge whether to middle drop your hand this time. As you will lose 40 points for a middle drop, you should calculate and evaluate the remaining unmatched cards of your hand. If their total score is lower than 40, you will only lose that score even if you lose game at the end. Therefore the right decision is to keep on finishing the game. On the contrary, if the total score of your hand is much higher than the loss of middle drop, and it’s still difficult for you to form the next valid card group, you are suggested to middle drop in time.
